A new section has been added which assists OVC programmes in improving the quality of care provided to children and caretakers. This section is coordinated by the USAID Health Care Improvement Project, managed by University Research Co., LLC (URC) and includes a compendium of resources and examples of standards and other quality improvement tools used in various countries.
This is an opinion piece developed through a series of four workshops organised by the Bernard van Leer Foundation in preparation for the International AIDS conference in Toronto. It includes a call to action to address the psychological wellbeing of all vulnerable children.
